As one of the fastest-growing places in the country, what happens at the national level matters to Greeley. The first quarter of 2022 has been filled with mixed economic messages. A recent report from CoStar Group sheds some light on where we may be headed for the balance of 2022.
The report shows that concerns of a national recession have lessened due to positive economic data. Housing income and spending levels remain high and demand for labor continues to be strong. Additionally, optimism toward earnings and economic growth is giving the Federal Reserve room to raise rates without causing a recession. Looking forward, the specialists at CoStar are keeping a keen eye on any slowing momentum in housing prices and labor markets as well as supply chain impacts.
