Stampede 100th Anniversary Logo

Following a couple of years impacted by the pandemic, the Greeley Stampede kicked off its 100th Anniversary with another 12 days of concerts, rodeos and carnival rides at Island Grove Regional Park. The 2022 event ran from June 23 through the 4th of July Weekend and included a brand new performance stage in the arena. Attendees are known to return year after year and the number of visitors regularly exceeds 220,000 people.

The Stampede is a key driver of tourism for Greeley and has a significant positive economic impact on our local economy. Stay tuned for a future edition of Greeley Rising™ that will detail the impacts of this year’s event once all receipts and reports are complete.

The Stampede is one of many events and attractions that help put Greeley on the map all year long including the Weld County Fair, Greeley Arts Picnic, weekly Friday Fest concerts and Go-Cup downtown, the Festival of Trees, and much more. (A Go Cup district is a specific area where consumers can order an adult beverage to go and then walk within the area with their beverage. Greeley is the first Go Cup district in the state.)
