The City of Greeley Economic Health & Housing Department and the Human Resources Department staff worked together to sponsor and attend the Workforce Symposium hosted at the Aims Community College Welcome Center. For the first time, the Workforce Symposium was hosted in Weld County! The event theme was “Solving the Talent Equation.” The agenda for the day focused on brainstorming ways to solve the biggest challenge facing employers in today’s dynamic job market – attracting and retaining top talent. The City utilized the event to promote the Greeley Home Ownership Program for Employees (G-HOPE) and My Greeley image campaign.
While at the symposium, participants:
- learned about the secrets of success after the pandemic from leading northern Colorado businesses;
- found inspiring concepts and practical applications for every type and size of business; and
- attended sessions focused on human capital, management modernization, and business leadership development.
This regional event was presented in partnership with Elevate Training, a Larimer County Economic and Workforce Development Program, and Employment Services of Weld County.
